How would you describe the memorial and its ornamentation?
Stained glass window of contemporary style depicting an Angel looking down on three boats and planes coming to break the siege. At base, two fishermen representing St Luke and St Paul climbing onto rocks from the wreckage of their boat. On the pennant attached to the boat's mast are the words MALTA GC. To the right is the Badge of the George Cross Island Association. At bottom right is the logo of the Royal Navy and the Crests of the Army, Merchant Navy and Royal Air Force.

Below the window is a dedicatory plaque. An associated standard is framed nearby.
