BENEATH ST OSWALD IS A PANEL WITH AN ANGEL SUPPORTING A PANEL BEARING THE DEDICATION, WHICH IS PAINTED IN BLACK GOTHIC LETTERING. THE MAKER'S TRADE MARK, A SHEAF OF CORN, APPEARS IN THE BOTTOM LEFT-HAND CORNER BY ST MAURICE'S FOOT.
