Memorial Details
What type of memorial is it?
How would you describe the memorial and its ornamentation?
A pair of stained glass windows. The window on the North wall is of three tall lights with six smaller lights above. The main lights contains images of St George (left, in armour and holding a flag), Mary holding the Christ Child (centre) and St Martin of Tours (right, holding a dagger and flag): two angels and two further people are in the smaller lights above. The commemoration runs on a ribbon in the two, outer, smaller lights and above Mary's head: the main dedication is on a panel within the window in the bottom right hand corner. The window on the East wall is of four lights and depicts the nativity with angels above an image of Mary, Joseph, the Christ Child and shepherds: the dedicatory panel with the names is set into the bottom right hand corner of the window.
