A two light window dedicated to 617 Squadron, the 561 that lost their lives from the station, and the estimated 1600 who perished during the bombing of the dams. The Rose window at the top has a Remembrance cross and poppy at centre.
At the top across both lights are silhouettes of Lancaster Bombers. Below in the left light, the badge of Bomber Command, and in the right, the badge of 617 Squadron. Emanating from the bottom of the badges are V shaped lines to represent the lights that shown from the Lancasters to show when the plane was at the right height to release the bouncing bomb. In the right hand light below the V shaped line is the date the Squadron formed at R.A.F. Scampton. At the bottom across both lights is an unfurled banner with poppies at either end, and the words "Lest we Forget, at the left hand end above the banner can be seen the silhouette of one of the airmen depicted on the Bomber Command memorial. Within some of the small glass panes around the Lancaster silhouettes can be found the Squadron codes of the nineteen aircraft that went on the raid.
Beneath the window is a wall mounted dedicatory stone tablet, incised and picked out in black with the crest of the Royal Air Force at top centre, the whole surrounded by a single line border.
