How would you describe the memorial and its ornamentation?
Three four light stained glass windows with tracery above. Installed in 1992 to replace windows lost to enemy bombing in 1940. They were given by the Duke of Westminster to mark the 900th Anniversary of the founding of the Benedictine Abbey in 1092 by an ancestor of his. In recognition of this his coat of arms appears in the fourth light of the third window and elements from the crest reappear among the remaining windows in the tracery. The date 1092 appears in the first light and 1992 appears in the final light, running from the left. The windows are an abstract design and an explanatory notice is in a glazed wooden frame beneath the centre light.
