Born in December 1988. He died from wounds received on 24 July 1916 in a casualty clearing hospital in Boulogne Sur Mer. He did not receive the 1914-1915 Star, meaning he did not join the armed forces at the outbreak of war, but more likely joined sometime in 1916 with his brother, Arthur Jeffs.
