Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra detail. An unmarried office worker - he worked in Lightcliffe - he is also commemorated on the Arras Memorial as well as IWM 2620. His age was given as both 25 and 26 by the press at the time: CWGC states it as 25 so that is used here.
