Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra details. The brother of William who is also commemorated here, they both came originally from Hull: a third brother was also killed apparently. David worked as a shunter on the railway and was not married although a message of love was sent upon his death from a Susannah of Luddendenfoot. He is also commemorated on IWM 2625 as is his brother William.
