Hornshaw and Fowler provide the few details. He lived at Bod Farm in Ripponden and his death was reported in the Halifax Courier on 19th March 1915 although no exact death details or date were given and the CWGC has no man by this surname and in this regiment as a casualty. He is also commemorated on IWM 2860.
