Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra details. He lived and worked locally before enlisting in the summer of 1917. Captured on 27th May 1918, he died in a POW camp of 'Weakness' and was initially buried there will full military honours before being moved to Niederzwehren. He is also commemorated on IWM 2853.
