Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra details. A weaver and member of the Liberal Club who enlisted in October 1914. He had fought at both Ypres and the Somme, being wounded twice, before dying of a third wound to his chest and arm in a casualty clearing station. He is also commemorated on IWM 29386 and 2710.
