Whilst they did not attach his details to this memorial, this is almost certainly (9as he worked in Bailiff Bridge), the Norman Hirst who Hornshaw and Fowler say is also commemorated on IWM 2738, 2745, 2603 and 2699 and who's biographical, service and death details as they found them are shown on the latter three.
