Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra detail and the press had him serving in the DLI: the CWGC confirm this but record his date of death as 24/3/17 (aged 38). Both confirm his burial place. Hornshaw and Fowler said he died of pneumonia and is also commemorated on IWM Memorial 2598.
