Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra details. He was married to Nellie Maud, had served for 13 years and was living in Southampton before the war. He died whent he Turbnulent was sunk at Jutland and he is also commemorated on IWM 2689 and 29405 as well as the Chatham Naval memorial.
