The College website (see references) provides the following additional information: 'Came up in 1912 to read Mechanical Sciences, but did not graduate. Brother of Thomas Walker Nott and Henry Paton Nott.
Military Service: Captain 6th Battalion, Gloucester Regiment. Killed near Peronne 18 April 1917 by booby-trap in disused German dug-out abandoned during the withdrawal to the Hindenberg Line. Adjutant to elder brother, Thomas Walker Nott. Awarded MC.
