Ged Martin (see References) offers this brief biography: ‘John Morris, who graduated in 1914, had planned to enter another theological college, Wells, but he accepted the 'unpalatable' advice of a friend that it was his duty to fight. Killed at Suvla Bay in August 1915, 'he would have made an excellent parish priest'.
