Extra information sourced from information provided by Eileen Corbitt, Honorary Secretary and Treasurer of The Old Hornseyans’ Association. He is said to have been killed on the Western Front. CWGC has two casualties by this name who died here and this is the most likely as the other hailed from Bedford.
