Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra details. He is also commemorated on IWM 596 and his biographical, service and death details as they found them are shown there. Hornshaw and Fowler also recorded him on this memorial as Harry Howorth but given they recorded each man as dying on the same day, serving in the same regiment and coming from the same area in Todmorden (Lydgate), it seems likely this was just an entry error: CWGC confirms just one man of this name and spelling. CWGC confirms only one casualty with this spelling.
