Notes
The Roll lists his address as 19 Goodyer's Yard, Bridge Street. It inaccurately states that he died on 28/11/1918 serving in the 1st Battalion; he actually died on 28/11/1917 serving in the 5th Battalion.
(CWGC records that Lance Corporal Sidney Percy Woods, regimental number 8617, died aged 26 on 28/11/1917 serving in 'C' Company, 5th Battalion of the Northamptonshire Regiment, and is buried in grave V.B.8 at Rocquigny-Equancourt Road British Cemetery at Manancourt in France. [On 2/8/1894 his mother Mary was admitted to the Cambridgeshire Asylum, where she died on 30/8/1895].
