Notes
The Roll lists his address as 21 Princes Street. It wrongly records his date of death as 12/9/1916.
(CWGC records that Private Percy Wilfred Mendham, regimental number 30172, died aged 18 on 3/9/1916 serving in 14th Battalion Royal Warwickshire Regiment, and is commemorated on Thiepval Memorial in France. They record him as the son of John and Anna Elizabeth Mendham of 21 Princes Road, Old Fletton, Peterborough. The Army Registers of Soldiers' Effects likewise records his date of death as 3/9/1916, and states that his mother Anna was his legatee).
