(CWGC records that Private Albert Harry Gent, regimental number 3107, died aged 21 on 25/4/1915 while serving in 2nd Battalion East Surrey Regiment, and is commemorated on Panel 34 of Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial. They record him as the son of James and Rebecca Gent of 557 Lincoln Road, Peterborough. The Medal Rolls do not record that he served in anything other than the 2nd Battalion.
