(CWGC records that Sergeant Harry Gale, regimental number 14893, died aged 26 on 25/9/1915 while serving in 7th Battalion Northamptonshire Regiment, and is commemorated on Loos Memorial in France. They record him as the son of the late Mr & Mrs Henry Gale and the husband of Fanny Gale of 152 Star Road, Peterborough. Soldiers Died in the Great War likewise records that Harry died on 25/9/1915, recording that he was born in St Mary's parish in Peterborough).
