The Roll lists his address as 3 St Patrick's House, St Paul's Road (which it also lists as the address of his brother James, who also died). The Roll inaccurately records his regimental number as 16307.
(CWGC records that Private S Durham, regimental number 163074, died aged 30 on 19/11/1916 while serving in 75th Battalion of the Canadian Infantry, and is buried in grave VIII.F.19 at Contay British Cemetery in France. They record him as the son of Mr & Mrs Margaret Durham of Peterborough, England, and the husband of Mary Durham of 589 Palmerston Avenue, Toronto, Ontario. His birth had been registered in Peterborough in 1887 as 'Stephen Ellis Durham').
