(CWGC records that Private Arthur Clarke, regimental number 7722, died aged 27 on 15/9/1914 serving in A Company of the 1st Battalion Northamptonshire Regiment, and is commemorated on La Ferte sous Jouarre Memorial in France. They record him as the son of the late Arthur and Bridget Clarke.)
