(CWGC records that Private C F Chambers died 7/11/1918, serving in the 1st Battalion Northamptonshire Regiment. He is buried in grave II.E.2 at Premont British Cemetery, near Bohain in France. The Army Registers of Soldiers' Effects record his forenames as Charles Frederick, and state that his mother Betsy was his legatee).
