Notes
The Roll lists his address as "Late of 145 Eastfield Road". It incorrectly records his regimental number as 12746 (it was actually 13746), and misleadingly states that he was was believed to have been killed in action at Ypres on 9/5/1915; he actually died on 6/3/1917 at Becquincourt in France.

(On the 1911 census Frank Bryant was lodging at 145 Eastfield Road, working as a gardener; he was recorded as being aged 29, and to have been born in London. Soldiers Died in the Great War records that he was born in Bermondsey; that he enlisted at Peterborough in the 1st Battalion Northamptonshire Regiment, regimental number 13746; and that he was killed in action on 6/3/1917. CWGC records that Private F Bryant, regimental number 13746, died aged 37 on 6/3/1917 serving in the 1st Battalion Northamptonshire Regiment, and is now buried in grave I.D.2 at Ennemain Communal Cemetery Extension in France, having been reinterred after the Armistice; they record him as the husband of Amy Bryant of Littleworth, Wing, Leighton Buzzard).
