Hornshaw and Fowler are the source of the extra details although they name his mother as Caroline not Mahala which is what the notes appear to say. Father was certainly William as both sources agree and also that they lived in Sowerby Bridge. Arnold was married, with a child, and had emigrated to Australia in 1912, hence the regiment. He had been a moulder before emigrating.
