Hornshaw and Fowler (see References) provide the extra detail and found him also listed on IWM 2224 and 596. He was an unmarried man who was working as a weaver in a mill before he enlisted in February, 1916. He served on the Somme and was wounded at Ypres - it is not clear if this was the wound he died from.
