Neither CWGC nor Hornshaw and Fowler (see References) list this man - indeed, no-one of this surname is listed in CWGC. It may have been a mistake on the original memorial carvings as there is an H Ambler on the memorial, also marked as a Private in the Duke of Wellington's Regiment: H Ambler was perhaps a later addition as it is elsewhere from the main D of W list, perhaps a correction?
