The Mevagissey Museum (see References) provides his service and death details and the following biographical information: 'On 11th January, while in Durban, Able Seaman JOSLIN has died as a result of ‘Accidental Drowning’. No information on his drowning can be found.
Born on 26th November 1925 in Mevagissey to Bertie Edward and Edith Margaret (nee CHITTY) JOSLIN. His older brother Frederick died in 1928.'
