A member of the University Contingent of the Officers’ Training Corps. Assistant Master at Christ’s Hospital, 1916 – 1917. Commenced service in April 1918. Rifleman with the 2/7th Battalion, London Regiment (Rifles). Killed in action at Messines Ridge, 28 September 1918.'
