Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra details. He was originally from Wakefield and went missing and presumably killed along with so many others from both the regiment and the region in the failed attack on the Schwaben Redoubt on 3rd September 1916. He is also commemorated on IWM 2830, 2832 and 2689.
