He is also listed on IWM 2130, 2824 and 2590. Hornshaw and Fowler (see References) provide the extra details. He lived in Greetland, his parents in Elland, and he had worked as a gardener and poultryman before he enlisted in October 1914. A memorial service was held for him at St Stephen's, Copley on 3rd September, 1916.
