Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra details but were not 100% sure of his forenames: he was either James Edward or John Edgar but they noted that as their dates of death were so similar (probably 4/3/17) and both served in the same regiment, they were perhaps the same man who was 28 when he died. Whoever he is, he is also commemorated on IWM 2757.
