Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra details. Married to a niece of Sir Algernon Firth, he had been both a curate in Lightcliffe until 1910 and then a vicar in Brighouse (St James' Church). He enlisted in May 1915, served in France before dying in Greece. He is also commemorated on IWM 2738 and 2763.
