Enlisted 1916: Hornshaw and Fowler provide the extra details. He lived in Norwood Green and was an apprentice butcher before enlisting in September 1916. First wounded by shrapnel, he was killed by shellfire making his way to a casualty clearing station. He is also commemorated on IWM 2759, 2760 and 2761.
