Over 150 old boys of Margate College have gone to the front In South Africa. Some have lost their lives, and a memorial is proposed in the college chapel — a pair of stained glass windows for the chancel. A brass plate has already been given, and Mr. and Mr. Constantine have provided the other decorations, which take the form of the Creed, the Lord's Prayer, and the Commandments, illuminated, over the altar. Subscriptions will be received by the principal, Mr. Leach Lewis. The dedicatory service will probably be held on the occasion of the old boys gathering at Whitsuntide.
