How would you describe the memorial and its ornamentation?
A three light stained glass window with the dedication across the bottom of all three lights.
The three lights each have a figure in as follows, possible that the figures depict C S Platt himself.
Left light, a figure wearing a cape and greaves, and carrying a cross staff and sword, with the coat of arms of Eton College and their motto beneath: "Floreat Etona" ["May Eton flourish"].
Centre light, a figure wearing armour and holding a spear and shield of St George standing over a dragon, and with the Platt coat of Arms and motto beneath: "Labitur et labetur" ["It passes and will pass"].
Right light, an armour clad soldier with the badge and motto of the 5th Dragoon Guards beneath: "Vestigia Nulla Retrorsum", ["We Do Not Retreat].
