He is also listed on IWM 33168 where there are more biographical details. On 33188 his initials are (it is thought by the school, wrongly) given as JR: information supplied by the school states he was wounded in France in 1917 but survived the war, becoming a Bank Manager and even joining the Masons in 1921. It is not therefore clear if he died of his wounds and, due to his date of date, CWGC has no record of him.
