The following information was supplied by the school in 2024: ' Noted by LHS Dec 1914. Probably born in the workhouse [in 1890], son of Elizabeth Prothero (probably born at Winforton), a general servant (no father noted). 1911 apprentice pharmacist Llandrindod Wells. Goes on to be a pharmacist after the war.'
