The following information was supplied by the school in 2024: 'Born in Kington in 1897, [possibly a twin as his brother is also listed as being born in 1897]. Father, William (born Lincolnshire - mother born in Kington), owns Chemists at 42 High Street and is also an aerated water manufacturer. Arthur is noted by LHS December 1914 as a Corporal. Death in France noted in KT May 1917. Listed there as a private [CWGC does too] and noted that brother [Christian - he served with a Labour Battalion, the Kings Liverpool and the RAMC and also attended the school and is listed on this ROH] also in France.'
