The CWGC website does not reference the DSM for Warrant Officer Class II H.C Jacobi, which is also normally a decoration awarded only to naval personnel, or personnel serving with the navy. It is possible the "D.S.M." reference on the memorial is an intended reference to "B.S.M." - i.e. Battery Sergeant Major?
