Notes
The Guardian newspaper reported 'West lived in Budock Water, Cornwall, with his fiancee Nicky, a nurse. The couple were due to marry in August and had been converting a barn together. West, nicknamed Stretch because of his height (6ft 4in), died on March 22 when two Royal Navy helicopters collided over the northern Gulf.'
