The Bristol Grammar School website provides his service and death details and this biographical information: 'Son of Frederick George Harding, hat manufacturer, and Sarah Ann, of 14 Edgecombe Road, Redland. Younger brother of Archibald Frank Frederick, and Gwendoline Violet.
Harding was born on 16/01/1888, and attended the School from 1898-1900. He served as a Gunner in the Army, with the Royal Field Artillery, "D" Bty, 242nd Bde.. Harding sadly lost his life on 22/09/1917, as a result of the War.
Harding is buried in Larch Wood (Railway Cutting) Cemetery, Belgium, Special Memorial A. 19.'
