The Bristol Grammar School website provides his service and death details and this biographical information: 'Son of Osmond Boyce, civil engineer, and Edith Mary Boyce, of Chasefield, Knowle. Husband of Florence Eveline Boyce of ‘Dinsdale’, Manor Road, Paignton.
Boyce was born on 10/10/1888, and attended the School from 1904-1905. He served as a Chief Officer in the Navy, with the Merchant Navy, SS Indore. Boyce sadly lost his life on 27/11/1918, as a result of the War.
Boyce is buried Paignton Cemetery, Britain, grave reference 2909.'
