The Bristol Grammar School website provides his service and death details and this biographical information: 'Son of Rev. J. Stormont Bell, Clerk in Holy Orders, and Edith Rhoda Bell of 55 Linden Road. Younger brother of Edith N. and older brother of May Dorothy, and Frederick Donald Linnel.
Bell was born on 24/03/1889, and attended the School from 1901-1905. He served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Army, with the Worcestershire Regiment "B" Coy. 2nd/8th Bn.. Bell sadly lost his life on 02/12/1917, as a result of the War.
He is remembered on Cambrai Memorial, Louverval, France, Panel 6.'
