All additional information and this short biography are supplied thanks to the research of the Blackpool Grammar School Old Boys: 'He was the son of Wilfred and Edith Brammer of Blackpool, and the husband of Nancy. He attended Claremont Primary School, and was the Blackpool Grammar School from 1934 to 1939. The family had a butchers shop on High Street. He was a Lieutenant (No 285348)
In the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, and died on Tuesday 27th March 1945, just six weeks before the War’s end, aged 22. His grave is in the Reichswald Forest War Cemetery in Germany.'
