The College website adds: 'He came up in 1902 from Punjab University [more probably Forman Christian College (FCC), Lahore]. Fifth son of Raja Sir Harnam Singh KCI; both his older and younger brothers were at Pemb – Kunwar Shumshere (who came up in 1897), who played for Kent, and Kanwar Dalip (1903). This Kanwar Read medicine like the older brother (MRCP, MD). Buried at Béthune Cem. Commemorated by a
