The College website adds: 'He came up in 1896 from Westminster School. [His brother, W Moon, came up to Pembroke as well. Leonard was a football (assoc.) and cricket blue and a test cricketer (4 caps); also played for Corinthians. He became a preparatory school headmaster. He died of wounds received in action. Buried at Karasouli Cem., Salonika and commemorated at Lord’s. [His brother played in goal for England and for MCC].'
