According to the Warrington Museum and Art Gallery (see references): Born in Warrington 26th June 1892 to John Thomas and Mary Elizabeth Coyne (and brother to John Thomas also named on this memorial). 1892 3 Pemberton St. 1911 159 Longford St, occupation Brewers Labourer. Worked for Pearson & Knowles. Educated at St Ann’s School. Attended Wesleyan Church. Regiment 1/4th Bn. Prince of Wales Volunteers South Lancashire Private No.2350. Killed in Action 25th September 1915 Battle of Loos. Cemetery Ypres Menin Gate Memorial Panel 37
